Department first christmas tree

Determine to get the department a bit more lively, I & Nora ( as usual the organizer team) bought a christmas tree. We went to Queensbay Jusco to buy the christmas...After a long time of argument(friendly one lah) whether to buy a 4 feet or a 5 feet tree, at the end i win(wahahahhaa) we get a 5 feet tree....YAHOOO!!!! It's ok we will put it up again next year...so this will only be one time investment.....

So we went to office early the next day...the initial plan was to put it up during lunch but....as usual the oranizer team is also the "gedik team"...less than 1/2 hr with the persuasion of other, we start to put up the tree....

We continued with gift wrapping during lunch time....walaueh....the boxes in the department is really limited....but we manage to get enough for the tree

So finally we get our first christmas tree....i, Nora & Wong sponsored ornaments for the tree..As this was quite a last minute job, the rest didn't had the chance to do so...Nevermind....next year will be better.....

So..what's next? Do you even have to ask? PHOTOSHOOT time lah!!!!GIRLSS!!!!!Prepare your pose....Only 5 girls will be in the running for DND Next Top Model.....waahhahaha!!!!

P.S: DND was the pioneer of Christmas tree culture in Kontron.After we put up ours,IT got one & HR got two, one in their department and another at the lobby(hehehe!!)....As usual....DND mah....but our tree was the best....beats a lot of shpping mall also leh......

First time as a treasure hunter

I think i'm gonna go short on this.....So here goes...

This is a treasure hunt organized by NPC and my very first hunt....It was a good experince... a lot of sponsor things....got petrol, t-shirt, cap, board,etc....The hunt was from Kepala Batas to NPC Kulim. This time the team was Nora, Arif, Me & Suresh.....Actually none of us wanted to join the hunt coz there will be a 2.5KM run at te end of the run...I wanted to join befre i know that there will be a run.....so when we went to HR to get the form then only we knew...I & Arif wanted to join on a 70% heart, Nora was totally opposite...so I & Arif filled the form....i went looking for 2 more team members....A lot of the old guys in the department was reluctant to join because of the runn at the end.....but in my heart i think 2.5KM isn't that far is it???Naza wanted to be the backup....n i handed the form to him....then all of the sudden Suresh came with the form an he filled in....i think ok.....then i ask him to get another member and to my surprised Nora was in....we wanted to be quick as we wanted to be in the company sponsored teams....and thank god we made it, the fifth and the last team to register....so we got it for free......yeah

Then comes the preparation.....no lift for 2 weeks....all the stairs climbing to prepare us for the run..then the briefing.....All of us except Nora were very excited on the hunt....

On the day of the hunt, i was the driver and Nora was the co driver....Arif as the photographer and question reader....Suresh as....ok wat do u expect from an India Indian in a Malaysia treasure hunt?...at least he is very supportive...bising also lah.....hhahaaa

So i went to pick up Nora & Arif as early as 6am and went to company at 620am to pick up Suresh...Boy he was so excited....then there was call from HR team saying that they haad already arrived at the flag off .....what?...so early?So off i shoot 130km/hr to kepala batas...arrive bout 730pm AND THE REGITRATION COUNTER WASN'T EVEN OPEN.... cheh!!!all the rush....Then took breakfast and photo shoots....And then the registration counter was opened...finally....

Then sharp at 830am...flag off time....

First thing after flag off is....WHICH WAY WHICH WAY???LEFT OR RIGHT? then everybody started shouting....wi wah wi wah wi wah!!!!!bising bising!!!!Then comes the first question....then Suresh as excited as ever....starts to ask a lot of question instead of solving question.... aiyoyoyoyo!!!!!Then after the first question, i suggest that we stop for a while to take a look at the bonus question and treasure question.....question one....then Suresh started to pick up his phone and ne ne ne ne ne ....in indian he goes calling his friend......but we manage to get in control after sometime in the race....good good....good job to Nora for helping us answering a lot of question.....

Of course it wasn't that smoothsail as we get to do ONE U-TURN.....ok at least i can say that ii was worth it....that U Turn gave us a lot of answers...But we need to be quick as remember, we need to do a 2.5km run.....so we arrive at the destination..and quickly we wrote the answers on the answers sheet & handed the treasure....It was a chaos....

Then it was off for the run....First we had to blow flour and get cilipadi from the flour....pedas pedas....after we get the cilipadi, the organizer handed the 2nd set of question to us....quick quick.....2.5km leh.....i'm glad that 2 weeks of stairs climbing paid off....not tired also....barely feel anything...kah kah kah kah!!!!The question was ok...but IQ question was a bit tough...with 32 C in the afternoon all the IQ gone down the drain liao.....but luckily Nora IQ was still intact....giving clues to us to trigger answer...we even sat down a tree to complete it.....Finally we completed the whole race...FUHHHH!!!

So off we wait for the final moment...the winners announccement...but as usual....answer first....from the answer we got quite a lot of correct answers..so we thought..well maybe 6th placing...after the answer, all the participance was given certificate of participance...then trrrrrr....winner announcement time...the 6th place was a team from kontron...aiyo....noo chance lah...then the 5th...4th...3rd..no chance liao lah...no hope.....but AND THE 2ND PLACE GOES TO.....DND TEAM.....AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!WOOOOOOO!!!!!WE WON!!WE WON!!!!

Then it was lunch...nice lunch....we had satay....ABC...Kuih....refilling the fat in the body...muahahahaha....

So off we went home feeling tired and happy.....

We also took the courtesy to treat the department for Dominos Pizza....Glad you enjoyed it.....We enjoyed it tooo!!

After Winning MEKO.....DINNER!!!!!

In the human culture, after winning something, it is a norm for us to go out for a celebration dinner. So, after winning MEKO, we went for what?......DINNER......where?.....SEOUL GARDEN AUTOCITY......YEAHHHHH!!!!!!!!FOOD!!!!!!!

So we went for the dinner after work.....Actually we wanted to go for Eden but i think we went over the line....Expensive ok? Anyway....Seoul Garden ok what.....it's fun coz we get to play "masak masak" and the food is not bad for a price like this.....We had good & fun time with some crossing over the boundary, taking food from next table.....apalah!!!! eat your own food lah!!!! We had one "halal" table for Indians (no beef, Seeni was so nice to sacrifice and eat at halal table) and one half "halal" for Chinese (Use your side of BBQ plate to cook beef.....) But my table, with the 3rd class group, it's all rojak......i cook u eat, u cook i eat......Belasahlah!!!! But we have to take care of Abang Zul coz he have high blood pressure and high cholesterol (No you can't eat seafood....only vege..... pity him!!!!)

We ate for about 2 hours until we drop.....really drop....I even have to control my belly when i walk....but we still didn't miss the dessert....AIS KACANG....

Most of the "family guys" went back early to take care of their kids.....(oh! i didn't hear you mention about kids when you were eating). Leaving the girls, Naza ( Naza:"huh!married? what is the meaning of married?" ), Ramesh( Bachelor on that day coz his wife went back hometown) & AK(single all the time) ......And we manage to get some photos in front of SOHO.....THE END

P/S: The girls except tan manage to get some photo snap at the entrance of the Hello Kitty Lantern show.....

My Boss' Precious 1st Birthday

Why am i writing on this? Well, I & Nora are the appointed Event Planner, of course!!

Ok...Here goes the day.... I & Nora departed from Prai at 2pm after i picked her up at a bus stop near Megamall Mall where her brother dump her(bad bro!!). Then on the way to pick up Nora, Shan called and asked me to help him buy round flat shape candle....something like aromatherapy candle because her wife wanted to lit up some Indian lamp kind of thing.... I initially thought that we need to buy at indian shop....after looking at a few indian shop, Nora ask me to go to AtoZ directly....Then we found it and it was in Shan's wife budget,20cents per piece. GREAT!!!! Then off we shoot to Laguna Park, Sungai Petani.

When we arrived at Laguna Park, we straight away went to the club house to take a look.....The place was dirty....Then we drive to Shan's place and told him. Then we had to listen Shan & his wife arguing on who to call to clean up the place. The worst thing that could happen is the hired organizer went for a delivery that day.....Oh dear!!!! So then i and nora start preparing the baloons and goody bag....

Then at 545pm which was already late as the invitation card says 6pm for guest arrival(yes right 6PM!!!) we stuffed all the balloons and things into my car. Imagine some 30 balloons stuffed into the back of my car....Nora had to carry some other things on her lap....and the car was really full.What we afraid was the ballons burst. When we arrive at the club house ( i stilled in shorts and t-shirt) , Seeni & the family was there. Then 6pm sharp, my CEO arrived with his family AND SHAN IS NOT HERE....HUH!!!!! OK then off to decorate.....Luckily Arif & Wong arrived on time...TO HELP OF COURSE....... I placed the goody bags, poke the balloons on chair( we forgot that we need things to hold the balloons...chair was the last resorts) and started setting up projector for the slide show....Of course Nora was busying some other decorating tasks.... I thought i saw Seeni, Arif & Wong help to hang banner....Seeni's wife help to decorate the table.....

Then finally when we finished decorating, Shan & family arrived...... I & Nora quickly went to change and i got the chance to bath. AND THE DUMBEST THING OF ALL IS...I FORGOT TO BRING TOWEL.....Luckily i have a small small towel.....Then Shan's wife ask me and Nora light up the small Indian lamp....You know...with the windy night...it is almost IMPOSSIBLE.....

Then it was cake cutting time....With the hired organizer deliverying baby at the hospital, I was the on the spot pushed up emcee....WHAT? ME? NO NO NO NO.....I can't possibly be EMCEE...But what can i do....So here goes....I started...." come please gather around....we are going to have a cake cutting ceremony...come come..." instead of..."A very good evening to all...please gather around for our little Parrveny cake cutting ceremony....etc etc etc" Dumb me!!!! Ok lah on the spot emcee.....what do you expect....FOC mah....Nvm at least i still achive the goal....muahahahahaha!!!! Then free for all....dinner time.....but no time to eat also....dunno doing what.....dunno what i & Nora busy about till cannot eat.... by the time we got to eat....most of the dish is already "out of stock".

Then finally my part....GAME TIME FOR THE KIDS.....Actually i & Nora wanted to have musical chairs, pass the box around and statue but we forgot to prepare the pass-around-box box. Then finally i had to do 2 rounds of musical chairs....Luckily i had on the spot assistant which was this very sporting and fun boy.....And all the kids was very active although there was also some shy kids...but i manage to get them in for the second round.....hehehe!!!!Not to mention 1 kid cry because he lose the musical chair to his brother.....HAIH!!!! It's normal...Kids...
Then it was time for the 3rd round...statue. Walaueh...nowadays kids very clever liao.....When my time statue was the hardest thing to play...coz you can't move at all.....So i ended up declaring 3 winner for that round......

Ok...finally the night was over....Most of the family went back after the game as it was quite late and the Kedah kids need to go to school next day....BYE!!!!!

Then it's clearing time....WAH the present occupied my car backseat.....imagine how many of them......I & nora sent present while Arif & Wong get the honour to send back the very very important Teddy Bear cake....You should see the tense on Arif face as driver....And we drove 20km/hr.....hahaha.....Back at Shan's house , his wife wanted us to stay a bit longer for a drink and so we stay...but i should say that it was quite fun too...seeing a small girls playing....But to our surprised, little Parrveny who look so tired at the party suddenly was energetic at home.....

And to our surprise....she like card more that gift....Then we tought her how to open gift...And the first gift was Tan's phone...and she loved it.....and she hates nora tiger doll...pity you nora..

So finally at 11pm we depart from Shan's home and back to Penang and got stuck at Sungai Petani Toll because of POLICE ROAD BLOCK....CHEH!!!!!Arrive at Penang about 12pm.....Tired and exhausted and dunno how to explain.....

MEKO Award

Let's start with MEKO Award. HUH? What is MEKO Award? MEKO : Malaysia Emerging Knowledge Organization. It basically talks about how successful in Knowledge Management. OK,enough on the explanation...Google round to find out more.

After 3 months of preparation, we( i & nora) ended up changing the last version of presentation for submission at last 3 days. How do we ended up changing? Well, before the submission date for the presentation( which we only know at the very last minute) we had a Nothern Region conference which was chaired by Kontron CEO, Dr Sam. In this conference, we had to present this presentation to the Northern Region members as to promote Knowledge Management. After the presentation, our nightmares begins.......deng dung deng dung deng dung(JAWS effect)....woooooo........The POKM team( or to say my director, Shan) wanted to change the whole presentation as they say that it was more like selling services presentation rather than sharing method presentation. WHO is going to do the changes? ME & NORA of course. Luckily we had this plan of changing it before but we didn't expect it to be this fast and in such a short time. Imagine changing a presentation prepared for 3 months in 3 DAYS!!!!! Boy, you got to be kidding me!!!! Here we again.....sleepless night again.

I was in charged of animation and video clips while Nora is in charged of power point presentation. And i should say, she did a super d**m good job. After 3 days of changes, we finally sealed the presentation in and mail it to JTFrank (the organizer). The work is still not done yet. Then it was presentation practiceS. Practices with Shan and the whole team. Shan as presenter and the team as critics.....YEAH!!!!!GO GUYS!!!!This is the only time in the history that you can critics your boss.....WOOOHOOOO!!!!!!MUAHHAHAHA!!!!! But this is also a backfire as this really lowered Shan's confidents. But he's a director right......

Ok! After 2 weeks and about a zilllion times of hearing the same presentation, it finally came the time for the award. A bus was arranged to take us to KL. We will be staying in Concorde KL. YEAH as we thought....But i miss the trip to KL coz i had to go to KL early for a wedding dinner and to visit my grandmother which is haven't seen since CNY.


I & my honey depart early from my grandma hoping to meet them up on time. We wanted to drop by at pavillion first but we got lost. AND all the jam is giving me a headache. At last, we stop by at Genki Sushi KLCC for lunch and i regretted that. Some of my friends said that it's good but for me it was bad service. The food was ok but the service....BAD. How can they even see me sitting there for so long and forget bout my order. When i call them to ask, they even dare to ask me, "bill?". I was like "huh? what? bill? where is my order?". Anyway, half way eating Nora called saying that they already at Rawang JAM!!!! So, I thought "well since they are in a jam, i might as well take a look around" until Nora called, telling me that they've already arrived. OH MY GOD!! So, off i shoot to Concorde and SHIT JAMMMMMM!!!!!!Nora was checking for me instead of me checking in for her.


Then finally i arrive at Concorde and all had already went to their respective rooms. Then in a rush, i kissed my honey good bye and went into the lift and realized that i need a room key to access.AIYO!!!That was also when i realised that the lift wasn't moving and i dare to ask the guard whether the lift is working. Then i called working....embarassing.....Then i called Nora when she came down to pick me up. Then the ironic thing is that on the way up, i realized i left the most important thing....MY SUIT and it was hanging in the back seat. I quickly called my honey and poor thing he was jam and had to turn back one big round. Then, we went to Tan & Wong's room. Then i called Lee Yean from JTFrank to ask whether we can make a rehearsal at the ballroom. She told me she would be ready bout 5pm.

Good, there's time for me to take a look at my room and wait for my suit. Then it was off to my room. Nora said that since she have some time, she would start ironing. That is when she noticed that there was a leak at the cupboard. I then called housekeeping and the housekeeping called maintenance. I insisted that i did not want anybody to access the room if i'm not there and we are going out for rehearsal and dinner. The housekeeping told me that the maintenance would come immediately. We waited for the maintenance guy to come while we call front desk to ask for a change of room. Since that there were no room to change, we had to wait. Then good job Nora. She can our organizer, Mr. Affendy and he manage to get a room for us. He ask us to wait for the front desk to call again for confirmation. Then the maintanence guy came and said that he already repaired the leak this morning. And Nora was saying that we did most of the job and we got the lousiest room. Then i called the front desk again asking what is taking them so long and YAHOOOOO!!!! they upgraded our room from 4th floor to 7th floor even higher than our boss. YES!!!!! Then they sent a bellboy to get our luggage. That bellboy is also a penangnite. Good to see somebody from home.

Then when we step into our room, we can't help our self laughing. Walaueh!!! we have individual sink and our room is spacious. Best of all we had KLCC view. Then off we rushed for rehearsal. We( Tan, Wong Yit & Khor) said that we wanted to go for dinner together. So since I & Nora were stuck with rehearsal then the rest had too but Shan would like more critics there. Unlucky for us, as the rest of the team is already in KLCC. WUHUUUUU!!!!Why me?

The first rehearsal was a chaos and a lots of critics too. We found out that Shan could not control laptop because of the setup and he need an assistant. And i was chosen as the assistant. Lucky for the rest unlucky for me. Why? Well, for the lucky one which is NORA she was hungry to death and unlucky me....it was not a pleasure to become an assistant. But Yit came out with a brilliant idea....DING!.... Shan can use Nora's laptop( luckily she brought one) and i just follow. When the first rehearsal, everybody seems to be looking fine. Then when Shan said that he wanted a second rehearsal, most of them look like they wanted to faint. Why? Coz they only ate bihun sup in the afternoon and it already 8pm and a rehearsal takes 40mins. Imagine that.... And this time all of us shut our mouths up.

Then it was off to the nearest monorail KL and to Times Square for dinner. We had dinner at this cafe on the top floor(i think). I had sizzling lamb and trust me when i say sizzling. It was the most sizzling lamb I've ever see. I , no, everybody even had to get off the table to wait it off. We took photos at the big Christmas tree in Time Square.

Then back to hotel as there is much study(for others) and presentation changes(nora n me...huh more changes?) I had to do the changes for my indication which Nora's can't help much on that. Then came our C.A.O(Chief Architect Officer), Mr.Naza for KLCC view shooting at our room. Well, you know we had the best view in town. Nora was busy ironing her suit, C.A.O busy shooting and me busy doing changes. Then, how dare you Mr. C.A.O for hiring Nora to iron his shirt...and it a new shirt...VERY HARD TO IRON YOU KNOW! Luckily our Nora is crazy for ironing. Get paid for doing your hobby...GOOD...We went to bed bout 1am and that was not a good sleep(God knows why). We woke up quite early the next day bout 600am, well Nora woke up early and drag me out of my slumber. Then bath, make up(Long hair girls had an agreement which is to bun up) and off for breakfast. The breakfast was nice but we did not have time to enjoy it. As we were the first presenter, I and Nora had to go setup.

I was tensed up as the assistant too. First the facility guy was missing and the video cable was loose. I had to use my hand to it while Lee Yean went to get him. Then it was Shan pushing the LCD too low till i can't see my indicator. I had to call Nora to help me... and she was reluctant to go up thinking that it was weird...but at last she had to....since there were not other way....Then there were no sound....OMG!!!!!Luckily i had Tan standing by and quick on her to act too. Then i was worried my animation clip won't work......Good thing every other thing turn out really smooth. After that we had to go thru 4 more speakers and then lunch. Lunch wasn't a enjoyable too.

After lunch then it was the Q&A session for the next 2 HOURS. WHAT 2 HOURS? OK! OK at least we had the rest to help...WRONG...Only i, Seeni, Wong and Tan were the representatives. The youngest and the least numbered of all the teams. We had 8 rounds of Q&A so making each of us had to take 2 question each. When i took the 1st question i was out of words but i still managed to get thru. And the 2nd question was like a walk at the park...AHEMMMM.....


Ok...there goes the first day.....The winner will be announced on the second day. Oh..i forgot to mention that we all were invited to this very nice place called Bangles for dinner on the night of first day. We had very good Indian food...Nice massala tea and brinjal...and friend ladyfingers looks like tempura... After the dinner we were drop off at KLCC and after that we took a LRT tour thanks to our CAO. We were at KLCC and CAO called and asked us to join him at Planet Hollywood Bukit Bintang. As for you who's good in LRT, we cannot go to Bukit Bintang with only 1 line from KLCC. So we switch 3 lines to back to KL Monorail and God knows howmany stations....just to get another call from CAO saying that they are at the hotel lounge... CELAKA!!! We were on high heels, ok! Anyway after one hour, we manage to get back to the lounge. Luckily we got free drinks. Ok still happy...



The second day was relaxed...Listening to sifu of KM and i get to enjoy breakfast and lunch too....And close to the end of the day...it is time to announce the winner...Initially they would announced the fourth, third, second and then first but it changed last minute. The fifth, fourth, third, second and then FIRST....We definitely weren't fifth...definitely not fourth and third....and comes second...which was not us....meaning...WE ARE THE CHAMPION MY FRIEND.......WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!


Then it was packing to rush back to Penang....happy in the bus...

I think this post is not complete without seeing me in suit...so here goes....

Before 2008

Ok,time for highlights pick up before 2008. Let's get thru with all the highlights of 2007 and get ready for 2008.

Let's see what did i left out. Of course, i would say that the past couples of month had been very very very busy. Ok, What are the other highlights; Winning NPC treasure hunt, my boss daughter 1st Birthday, winning Meko Award and dinner and the latest Alisa wedding.

So, I'll post it one by one before 2008!!!!!

Treasure Hunt - My newly developed hobby

OK! As promised, this was the treasure hunt that we joined on my birthday. Actually we weren't supposed to join because the original date would be 1st Dec(which was the date we went for MEKO award) but then it was postponed to 8th Dec. Guessed this was a blessing in disguise.
I and Arif was a second time hunter where Miss Tan & Miss Wong is a first timer. Just like me as a first timer, they were nervous and excited. Tan even brought back a previous version of tulip to study at home coz she was the appointed tulip reader on that day. For those who do not know, tulip is the map for treasure hunt. As usual, I'm the driver since I can speed & drive under pressure(Cheeeehhhhh!!!!) while Arif & Wong is the appointed question reader aka solver. Nora couldn't join coz she was the committee (TOOOOOO BAD!).

We started quite early. We met at Kontron as early as 7am(huh! Sooo early?). Boy! i don't even wake up so early on working day. The only day that can break this record is "Cheng Beng". Anyway, I fetch Arif at her apartment at 6.45am as we were from island and went off to meet up with Tan & Wong at the factory. It was quite fun to drive thru Penang Bridge this early coz we do not have to cope with the everyday bridge jam. Entire 13.5KM to me alone....wahahhaha!!!!!

Once we arrive at factory, the committee were missing in action. So we have to go to the department to wait. Wong still haven't arrive yet( Thought we said 7am?Late!!!!) But it's ok. She arive just in time to inform us and to collect breakfast for us. AND that was after she bought her breakfast before calling us to ask. HAIH!!!! Anyway, we had our breakfast at the canteen about 7.30AM and get ready at the parking lot about 8AM. That is when all starting to tensed up. We put up stickers on my car, took some pictures and went thru another short briefing. As usual a short briefing will be held a day before the hunt.

So , anyway, we flaged off exactly 8.19AM as second car. Ah!! The first 5km was easy as it was at the tip of our hand. WROONG!!!!!! As easy as it seems, we overshoot (Aiyo!!!Tulip reader what are you doing?) Nevermind! Nevermind! We solve the following first and turn back( MALU! MALU!) We never thought turning back to previous question would kill us. Not the turning back part but the question. I think it's the hardest of all 30 question. It took us 30mins to solved 2 question & that was all guessing. Then off we go. On the way to the next question comes the question reader role, reading the bonus question.Thanks to Arif, she manage to solved all the bonus question(i helped 1...hehehe!!!!). Then it was Wong calling all her Malays friend for hints. We manage to get only 5 out of 6 treasure. The last one was pinang. Where to get? I've never see a pinang. We were the new generation that never encountered pinang. :) . We basically took it slow at first and rushed at the end of the hunt. And the second U-turn that we made was because of the error in tulip (NOT the reader,ok?) But we manage to get back to the right course after a lot of phone calls.

After 5 hours of tension, fun(of course, giggling and laughing in the car. This is what you get with 4 girls in a car...hehehe) and 2 U-turn, we manage to reach the goal (Thank GOD!). Then it was the submission part.Boy we were noisy inside.....Sorry committee.....Then off for lunch. They had karaoke session too. Great singer we have in Kontron. Even the operators can sing. The ex Kontron Idol was also there. WOW!!!

And the moment of truth is finally here!!!!! The most anticipated time.....Lucky Draw and prize giving. DND never really had luck for lucky draw.....But SORRY GUYS, Things are going to change from now onwards. We got the best prize. Miss Tan got the first prize, a brand new MOTOROLA hand phone. She wanted to buy one for quite sometime. It's time to throw away your old phone, yeeeehaaaaaa!!!! Then it was time to announce the winner. AND the 6th prize IIIISSSSSS (trrrrrr.......drums rolling....) TEAM 11. It was our team!!!!YEAHHHH!!!!!!!And we thought that there was no hope of winning. Not bad gals..... We were the only team from Kontron that actually won a placing. AND the rest of the winning team was very experienced. I would say that we were not bad as we were freshman in this game......

My 1st Highlight

I think I would start my blog with the very first & important highlight of my life which is (trrrrr........keep the drums rolling......) MY BIRTHDAY. No age involve here.....although i can only say that i'm 2X years old.

Well, i would say that this is the most busiest and interesting birthday of my life not that my previous birthday is that boring. It started with 2 months of overloaded work and a tiring and tensed up MEKO award. Came back from this award on my birthday week anticipating the celebration. Before i went to this award i signed up for this treasure hunt that will also be held on my birthday, with YNTan, FLWong and Arif(coming up on the next post). After the treasure hunt, we went for a pre-celebration of my birthday and celebration of us winning the treasure hunt 6th prize at Ice Ice Baby Autocity. I must say either the food there is quite good or...it must be me happy....but anyway it's good. We ordered banana splits, multi decker strawberry ice cream, chocolate dip and this ala-egg cake. Oh! i still haven't explain why it's call pre-celebration. Well, i always celebrate with my boyfriend or my family which is the main celebration(Sorry Gals! I know you would understand).

Fuh!!!!Tired yet happy afternoon. Went back home bout 5pm after 8 hrs of leaving home & boyfriend. Manage to get a nap...before me & my boyfriend went of for the MAIN CELEBRATION.....WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!Where? Seoul Garden at Gurney. No, not that buffet Seoul Garden at Gurney Plaza Basement. This is the one same building as McDonald at Gurney Roundabout.

Boy!!!Best BBQ ribs I've ever tested......and that rice wine....fuh!!! almost knocked out after ONE SMALL TINY glass;Imagine 19.5% alcohol. It's quite embarrassing to bring back the rest after only one small glass after seeing all the Japanese and Korean guys next table especially when the waiter brought a red plastic for us (i were hoping that she would bring a better paper bag). They were like the champion of rice wine drinking competition. Bottle after bottle, beer after rice wine then back to beer and not having signs of drinking not even a bit of redness on their face. While they were enjoying the wine, i were left feeling the after effect. I was so reddish like they said in chinese "ang hae" (red prawn) but thank god it went of in about 1/2 hour. Luckily nobody noticed. AND not forgetting the sidelines, total of 9. I like the most the fermented dark bean & KIMCHI. My boyfriend,Joseph loves the seasoned TAUGE. We had this korean fried cakes which is a delicacy for the korean on New Year. Nice!!!!!! Ok...so much for the birthday dinner.

Think that it will end? NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Not yet.
Then off to Queensbay for a midnight movie, Enchanted. And there goes my most powerful day. I had an agreement with my honey that the birthday boy or girl would be the King / Queen of the day! Free to request(or i should say ORDER) ANYTHING!!!! So there you go, as I've said....the most important highlight of my life.
